Mission Statement
Our mission as Deacons is, 2 Timothy 2:15 New International Version (NIV)
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Isaiah 40:31, ‘But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.’ Deacons will use their gifts in service and serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not people. Ephesians 6v7
Deacon's Responsibility
To assist the senior Pastor in serving the church’s needs & assist with serving the needs of the congregation. The deacon’s overall mission mirrors the senior Pastor’s mission. To be used by God, safeguard the church’s integrity by encouraging & developing the church’s spiritual character by unifying the body of Christ in love. Deacons will use their gifts in service and serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not people. Ephesians 6v7
